02

Schedule an Intake Session

Our first meeting will be focused on building rapport and creating a plan and some action steps. In order to do both, my intake session is 90 minutes in length. Additionally, prior to your session, you’ll receive intake documents to complete. These will help you identify what’s most important to you, what worries you most and what you want to accomplish in our work together. Session follow up will include resources and handouts relevant to what was discussed.

03

Schedule follow up meetings, as needed.

Depending on your situation, you may only need the intake session. However, for clients who want some accountability and ongoing guidance and support, you can book follow-up sessions as needed, either 30 or 60 minutes in length. Some clients find it best to “front load” their coaching plan. For example, having your intake session and two follow up session within the first month. This is generally desired when clients want to take action quickly or make rapid educational and emotional progress. This can also be helpful when there is a looming deadline or a desire to compete some of the necessary work before a certain date. Deadlines could be as official as an upcoming mediation session or court date, or something personal such as wanting to complete tasks before a child is out of school for the summer, before you next birthday or your wedding anniversary.
